Evergreen Lodge

The Evergreen Lodge is where the reception will be at and where we are asking friends and family to stay. It is located right outside of the Big Oak Flat Entrance to Yosemite National Park.

You can book online at http://evergreenlodge.com using the Group Code: REYES. If you are planning on staying on dates outside of our block (June 23rd - 25th, 2027), then you will need to call Evergreen Lodge directly at (209) 379-2606 and they can apply the group code manually.

If you want an alternative to lodging, Rush Creek Lodge is the sister property that has more traditional hotel room accommodations and it is located 15 minutes from Evergreen Lodge. We do not have a block there.

Airports

Sacramento Airport (SMF) will most likely have more direct flights than Fresno Airport (FAT). Both are roughly 3 hours to Evergreen Lodge. San Francisco and Oakland Airports are also an option but are not recommended due to distance.

  • No. But please let us know if you aren’t able to attend. Our ceremony has a strict 50-person capacity set by the National Park Service, so we need firm numbers early.

  • Dressy Casual

    For our morning ceremony at Glacier Point, we’d love for everyone to look polished and photo-ready, but there’s no need for formal attire. Think a nice dress, jumpsuit, or separates; or slacks/chinos with a button-down or sweater. Jackets and ties are completely optional.

    Mornings at Glacier Point can be chilly, even in June, so we recommend bringing a light layer such as a cardigan, wrap, sweater, or jacket.

    You’re absolutely welcome to wear the same outfit to our evening reception at Evergreen Lodge. However, there will be plenty of time between the ceremony and reception to explore Yosemite, hike, relax, or head back to the lodge, so feel free to change into something more comfortable during the day and change back—or into something new!—for the evening.

    Most importantly, wear something you feel good in and can comfortably enjoy our Yosemite celebration in.

  • Please carpool if you can. Parking at Glacier Point is limited and fills early, and the entrance fee, $35, is charged per vehicle. If you'd like to be matched with other guests, let us know when you RSVP. If you'd rather drive yourself, that's completely fine, just plan to arrive early.

  • You'll need to pay the park entrance fee ($35 per vehicle) or show a valid interagency pass. Digital passes can now be purchased in advance through Recreation.gov, which speeds up entry at the gate. We recommend buying yours ahead of time. [Entrance reservations are not required, but we'll update this page if that changes.]

  • Almost certainly not. There's little to no signal at Glacier Point or across most of the park. Download your directions offline before you leave your hotel, and agree on a meeting plan with anyone you're driving with. Don't count on texting us that morning.

  • Plenty, and we'd love for you to enjoy it. From Glacier Point Amphitheater, where the ceremony will be, to the popular Yosemite National Valley is about an hour drive.

    Trails (From Glacier Point to Evergreen Lodge)

    • Sentinel Dome / Taft Point Trail (2 miles round trip, ~1-2 hours)

    • Tuolumne Grove (2.5 miles round trip, ~1-2 hours)

    • Merced Grove (3 miles round trip, 1-3 hours)

    • Carlon Falls (3.8 miles round trip, ~2-3 hours with stops, waterfall!)

    Just leave yourself time to reach Evergreen Lodge and be ready by 5pm for the cocktail hour.
