The Evergreen Lodge is where the reception will be at and where we are asking friends and family to stay. You can book online at http://evergreenlodge.com using the Group Code: REYES. If you are planning on staying on dates outside of our block (June 23rd - 25th, 2027), then you will need to call Evergreen Lodge directly at (209) 379-2606 and they can apply the group code manually.

Airports

Sacramento Airport (SMF) will be closest airport to Evergreen Lodge. Fresno Airport (FAT) is also an option. San Francisco and Oakland Airports are also an option but are not recommended due to distance.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please let us know by [date]. Our ceremony has a strict 50-person capacity set by the National Park Service, so we need firm numbers early.

  • Something nice, but please don't go formal. We're at 7,214 feet on a granite overlook, so mornings are cold even in summer, and you'll want a layer. Shoes you can walk on uneven stone in.

    If you're heading into the park afterward, pack a change of clothes and real shoes in your car. You'll be glad not to hike in your ceremony outfit.

  • Please carpool if you can. Parking at Glacier Point is limited and fills early, and the entrance fee is charged per vehicle. If you'd like to be matched with other guests, let us know when you RSVP. If you'd rather drive yourself, that's completely fine, just plan to arrive early.

  • You'll need to pay the park entrance fee or show a valid interagency pass. Digital passes can now be purchased in advance through Recreation.gov, which speeds up entry at the gate. We recommend buying yours ahead of time. [Entrance reservations are not required, but we'll update this page if that changes.]

  • Almost certainly not. There's little to no signal at Glacier Point or across most of the park. Download your directions offline before you leave your hotel, and agree on a meeting plan with anyone you're driving with. Don't count on texting us that morning.

  • Plenty, and we'd love for you to enjoy it. [Add two or three suggestions that make sense with the drive: the Valley floor is roughly on the way back, so Tunnel View, Bridalveil Fall, or lunch in Yosemite Valley all work well.] Just leave yourself [time] to reach Evergreen Lodge.
